Our troop made the long drive the first Friday of September to Myrtle Beach. There, they set up camp and had a good night of sleep. They had breakfast then departed to clean the beach of any trash they could find. The Scouts ended up covering around 36.89 linear miles of ground, picking up 222.68 pounds of trash! Afterwards, the group enjoyed multiple activites such as the water park and beach. They then slept, packed up camp, and drove home after stopping by a Buc-ee's. Some of the most unique items abandoned on the shore were a purple troll doll, a pink axolotl plush, and a toupee.
