Our troop went to Winthrop University to attend the Flags for Heroes event. They were able to honor the lives lost on 9/11. Additionally, they thanked special heroes in their lives by flying over 200 flags, one for each hero. Each flag had a donation tied to it, the Palmetto Council's goal is to raise $450,000 and have currently acquired $27,984 from 111 supporters.
